Tips for Voting Absentee

Some tips on how to handle your absentee ballot:

• Mail your ballot no later than Monday, Oct. 26 to make sure it arrives on time.

• Taking advantage of early voting is the best way to ensure your ballot is received and is done correctly. Early voting begins on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and runs through Friday, Oct. 30. Some communities don’t offer a full day of early voting on Oct. 30, so check with your municipality.

• If you don’t vote early or mail your absentee ballot in time, you can tear it up and vote in person on election day.
