Make a plan to vote
Vote early in person Oct. 20 through Oct. 30. That’s the best way to ensure your ballot is received and it doesn’t contain errors that could get your ballot rejected. Not every municipality has the same hours, especially on Friday, Oct. 30, so to check before voting. See where and how to vote early.
Or vote by mail with an absentee ballot. If you do that, mail it by Monday, Oct. 26 to ensure it arrives in time. Or, drop it off at your City Clerk’s office. Some communities don’t allow absentee ballots to be dropped at polling locations on election day. Track your mailed ballot to make sure it is received.

If you are heading to college, just request an absentee ballot. Just remember that only you can drop it off, or mail it back early.
