Ozaukee Democrat Success

I am going to make this very brief: we need to take a moment and reflect on all of the good work that we are doing. There is a lot of Ozaukee Democrat success that we should all be proud of. This week is the Ozaukee County Fair. Many of you are volunteering to staff the booth and many of you will stop by to say hello. Our values are what fuels our mission. There is no comparison to the morality of our party’s members and what we see with the Republicans. I am not just talking about Trump. I am talking about anyone who still supports him and the GOP. 

Senator Ron Johnson continues to spew really dangerous misinformation on COVID vaccines, while he and our Congressman Glenn Grothman refuse to release the horrendous Epstein files.

So this is what I ask of you: we need to come together to support whatever Democrats come out of the Primary on August 11th, whether that be for Governor or the 6th Congressional District. It is our values of freedom, fairness, and opportunity vs. corruption, voter suppression, and civil rights erosion. Tom Tiffany has a worse voting record than Scott Walker! Just pick an issue. Tom Tiffany wanted to erase your 2020 vote.

Do not be tempted to squabble with one another over the Primary outcome; that is what the Republicans are counting on. In 2008, I was a giant Hillary Clinton supporter. She lost the primary. I knocked on doors for Barack Obama right through election day. And as President Barack Obama always said, “Yes We Can”. We can and we will win on November 3rd.
